Job description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Drafter to join our design and engineering teams. The role includes creating manufacturing drawings and technical specifications, working closely with R&D and production teams, managing engineering documentation, and working in a SolidWorks environment interfacing with PLM systems and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Produce accurate technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
- Work closely with engineers and design teams on an ongoing basis
- Update and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation
- Support development activities and transfer to production processes
- Drive continuous improvement in drafting and documentation workflows
Requirements
- Practical Engineer or BSc in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
- Proven experience preparing manufacturing drawings and technical specifications
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks – mandatory
- Experience managing BOMs and documenting processes
- Advantage: familiarity with Solid Edge and or NX
- Advantage: experience working with PLM systems
- Advantage: understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good technical English (reading and writing)
